The assignment is situated within the UNODC Border Management Branch (BMB), specifically under the Global Programme on Criminal Network Disruption (GPCD/CRIMJUST), which supports Member States in strengthening international cooperation against transnational organized crime.
As part of ongoing programme implementation and reporting requirements, UNODC produces analytical and narrative reports for internal and external stakeholders, including donors such as the European Union. These reports capture operational results, partnerships, and lessons learned across multiple regions, including Latin America, the Caribbean, West Africa, and Europe.
Given the volume of reporting deliverables and the need for high-quality, timely outputs, this assignment will support the consolidation and finalization of the final report from the EU funded project CRIMJUST (phase I, Phase II and Phase III). The Online UN Volunteer will contribute to ensuring that these reports are coherent, well-structured, and aligned with UNODC's standards.
The final product will consolidate the data of the successful implementation which will is key to further fundraising for the Global Programme.
UNODC-GPCD is seeking support to assist in the drafting, consolidation, and finalization of five programme reports related to activities on transnational organized crime and international cooperation.
The assignment will involve working with existing materials (notes, drafts, inputs from colleagues) and transforming them into clear, structured, and publication-ready reports.
Key Tasks
Review and consolidate existing draft materials and inputs
Structure reports in line with UNODC / donor reporting standards
Draft and edit narrative sections (context, activities, outcomes, lessons learned)
Ensure clarity, coherence, and consistency across all reports
Apply light copy-editing and proofreading
Incorporate feedback from the team in a timely manner
