Help Protect Children from Violence and Harmful Practices The Child Protection Officer (NO-B) TA will support the effective planning, implementation, coordination and quality assurance of child protection interventions with a particular focus on the prevention of violence against children (VAC), harmful practices including child marriage, child labour, gender-based violence, abuse and neglect of children. Working closely with the government counterparts, implementing partners, civil society and UNICEF colleagues, you will support the establishment and strengthening of Child Protection Community Hubs (CPCHs) and other community-based child protection mechanisms, promote community engagement, child and adolescent participation, positive parenting approaches, and strengthen referral pathways linking communities with statutory child protection services. You will also support government coordination mechanisms to advance the prevention of violence against children and harmful practices and contribute to integrated child protection programming. This is an exciting opportunity for a child protection professional with strong technical partnership and coordination skills to help strengthen prevention and response systems for vulnerable children.
