1. Background & About Trust Consultancy and Development

Trust Consultancy and Development is an independent research and third-party monitoring and evaluation (M&E) firm based in Gaziantep, Turkey, with sister companies in Palestine and Iraq. We provide high-quality research, data collection, and analysis for NGOs and donors across the MENA region and beyond. Our clients include UNICEF, GOAL, HelpAge International, Save the Children, NRC, World Vision, USAID/BHA, ECHO, and others. Active in Syria, Turkey, Iraq, Yemen, Palestine, Pakistan, Lebanon, and Afghanistan, we bring a unique perspective through our extensive field networks.

As part of our ongoing project activities, we have conducted qualitative data collection (including Key Informant Interviews, Focus Group Discussions, and other related materials) in Arabic. To support analysis and reporting, these materials need to be translated into English.

2. Objective

The objective of this assignment is to secure a cost-effective and reliable translation service provider to translate qualitative data (transcripts, interview notes, FGD summaries, and related documents) from Arabic to English (and vice versa, if required) for the duration of the project.

3. Scope of Work

The selected translation company will be responsible for:

• Translating qualitative data collection materials (KII transcripts, FGD summaries, interview notes, etc.) from Arabic to English.
• Ensuring accuracy, clarity, and confidentiality of all translated content.
• Delivering translations in a timely manner as per the project timeline.

4. Qualifications & Requirements

Interested translation companies should demonstrate:

• Proven experience in translating humanitarian/development-related content.
• Familiarity with qualitative research terminology and context.
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.
• Competitive and transparent pricing (cost-efficient offer).
• Availability to provide services until the end of the project contract.
